There is a new member in my family! Lloyd Harrison Brand was born this past Thursday to cousin Greg and Jenna. His adorable pics can be found here. Baby, Mom, and Dad are all doing great.

I had a pretty busy weekend and it started early as I took the day off last Friday. Thursday night, along with some people from my networking/social group, I attended a play entitled "I love you, your perfect, now change. It was very entertaining and it was my first trip to Pittsburgh's Cabaret Theater.

Friday after sleeping in, hiking through the park with Thunder, and hanging some x-mas lights I attended my company x-mas party. Much to my surprise I actually had a good time. It was held on the Gateway Clipper sailing ship. And even though it was very very very very cold outside we were warm inside having a buffet style meal on its two decks with a full bar on each. The night was topped off with dancing and taking in the sites as we sailed around the shores of Pittsburgh which looks fabulous all lit up at night.

Saturday Jeff and I braved the snow and went to see a friend's x-mas concert that his church group puts on each year. Once again it was a great concert and all 15 of us who attended went out after for cocktails and food, which all made for a rather enjoyable night.

Sunday I helped Paul put up lights on his house while Alison cooked a hearty meal that quickly unthawed us. I still have not convinced them to put giant inflatable festive things in their yard or on their roof but I feel that each year I wear them down a bit, and the threats that I get when suggesting I will just do it anyway seem to be getting get less severe too, so maybe next year.

And that brings me to Monday, sucky Monday and back to work. Boo
