Titanic
We (Me, Jeff, Alison, and Paul) went to the Titanic artifact exhibit at the Carnegie Science Center this past Sunday. It was pretty interesting. At the beginning you are given a card with the name and bio information of a passenger. At the end you find out if that person lived or died in the tragedy. The exhibit recreated portions of the ship such as guest rooms for first, second, and third class. There were numerous artifacts salvaged from the wreckage, all enclosed in climate controlled glass cases on display. There were items such as money, perfume bottles, articles of clothing and many more that they were able to trace back to the passengers to whom they belonged. Actual pieces of the ships hull were also on display. Quotes from survivors and those that were involved in the building of the ship adorned the walls as you made your way through the exhibit. It was very interesting and a nice outing on a Sunday afternoon which was then capped off with dinner out and a trip to the creamery for yummy gelato for our dessert.

I lived, because the world would be a sad place without me.

Actually I yelled out "THAR SHE BLOWS" then I realized that was the wrong character.
