I have been slacking a bit the last couple weeks on working out so I decided that come hell, high water, locusts, nuclear war, or even a slight rain that I was getting my behind out of bed this morning for a swim and workout. At 5:30 a.m. I pull into the JCC and guess what? DENIED. They are closed today and tomorrow for yet another Jewish holiday. If I was religious I would convert just for the holidays.

I just tonight realized that there has been an ice cream cake in my freezer since Sunday. Paul's birthday cake has been in there all week and here I have been sitting just in the next room without any cake or ice cream. What a gosh darn shame. Time to make up for wasted time.

A certain person who knows me very well and shall remain nameless, ok her name is Lil, sent me caffeinated soap to use before I head out in the morning and use the Starbucks card she also sent. Not only can I get my caffeine freak on via a venti cup, I can rub it all over my body. Just sit back and picture that for a bit.
