Stupid Taxes

I just finished my taxes. Yes I procrastinate and put them off, but they are not late. I discovered that the wonderful company I work for, who should really be better with numbers, was taking out an incorrect tax rate while I worked outside of the city for the first half of the year. I have always lived in the city, but only worked outside of the city part of the year and was taxed as non city resident. Since the city tax is higher than non city tax, not enough was withheld. So I actually owe city taxes of $382. Isn't that just craptacularly craptastic? I even owe a little federal taxes, but I knew and expected that. State taxes was break even so nothing back there. Oh well, at least they are done. But that noise you hear...it's the life being sucked out of me.

Anyway, later I am going to a team softball meeting and then with the team for happy hour so a few beers should work to re-energize and make me get over my tax issues.

Well...at least I can go to sleep tonight knowing that I am not the only one who waited until today. I had better news all the way around than you did. So your misery is making me feel better. :)
Does your team have a name? What color are the uniforms?

Well if you're happy then I'm happy.

Blue uniforms and I think the name is Shepard Boys or something close to that. Usually has something to do with the sponsor but not sure. I guess I should find that out, hopefully it will be on the shirts.

Crapology...I thought of you when I saw a preview for an ABC sitcom. The dad was listening to his kid play the trombone, badly. He asked if he was playing it in the key of E-Crap.

Was he singing a-crapella too?
