I had a rubber mad doctors mask with blinking red eyes. Grace got me a docotrs coat and stethescope, and some red paint splattered on it made for a great costume.
My favorite x-mas gifts were those that I got from my mom the year she died. It was right beofre x-mas and she made sure all her shopping was done before her sugery. There was nothing in particular that stood out, as usual I got most everything I asked for and stuff she liked to pick out, but it seemed to be more meaningful. All of it, the gifts, the wrapping, the messages written on the tags...
But when I was a kid, it was my first camera, a Kodak Disc camera. Remember those, all metal and shiney with the round film discs. I thought I was a pro, at 10 years old.
