I can't believe it
Bush is on TV right now on a soap box defending the Iraq war in what is supposed to be a Presidential address commemorating the fifth anniversary of September 11, 2001. I don't know what to say. I can't believe it. Is he really turning this occasion into a political speech for his administration and rehashing the same political speech we have heard time and time again? Is he really doing that? Has he politicized 9-11 so much that the line between decency and partisian politics has blurred beyond him and his handlers? I am just speechless.

Bush & Co. have made me so cynical over the years, their politicizing of 9/11 no longer surprises me.
After all, that's what holding their 2004 Republican National Convention in NYC was all about (although it didn't work, at least there, as NYC went for Kerry by an overwhelming amount).

The man is a moron. He has no clue how to show respect or compassion. During the one year mark of Katrina, I attempted to avoid his bullshit. However, I happened to turn on the tellie right when he was promising to keep his promise from a year ago to help us rebuild. He was promising to keep a promise!!!! In other words, he was lying to cover up a year old lie. I really hate that man.

Oh my god...are you seriously surprised he's politicizing this? Nothing they do surprises me in the least. These people are scum. The good thing: my boss, a lifelong republican, has changed her party affiliation to independent; my mother has stopped donating to the party and sent them a letter telling them they were beginning to disgust her. Maybe they are doing the country a favor afterall.
