Socializing and houseguests
My second networking/social get together was tonight at The Firehouse Lounge downtown in the Strip District. It was a pretty cool place and a nice evening. I met some more people in addition to socializing with some others I recently met and are part of the group. Some food, drinks, and a lot of conversation made for a fun evening.
Tomorrow Grace, Jerry, and Alison's Grandpa comes into town for a couple days. My living space, which is all on one floor with no stairs will be the quarters for Grandpa Jim. So I got the place all cleaned up and spiffy for the arrival of company. It also gives me a good excuse to leave work early Friday. Can't wait to see everybody.
