LOS ANGELES (AP) -- An official police report on Mel Gibson's arrest on drunken driving charges substantiates claims that he made anti-Semitic remarks and threatened a deputy, a law enforcement official said Monday....

....TMZ reported that Gibson said, "The Jews are responsible for all the wars in the world," and asked the arresting officer, "Are you a Jew?"

And from what reports are coming in, this looks like only the beginning of what he said in his meltdown.

Disclosure -- I'm no fan of Mel Gibson.

Some people can get pretty honest when drunk. I have been around many people that start spouting off after throwing back a few. Still, he supposedly only blew a .12. While that is considered drunk by the states for driving it does not seem like the tilting point when the part of your brain that controls this kind of thing shuts down. I have probably been, no I'm sure I have been to the point where a .12 was well behind me but there is still that wee bit of awareness of what pours out of your mouth no matter how staggering blotto you are. Unless perhaps they are real ingrained deep rooted feelings......
