Boss is gone. It's good that it is finally over. The regional manager and an HR person came out to the branch and stayed while she cleaned out her desk. I had to not only find a box for her to pack up personal belongings, but also take them out to her car. I felt like I was a security guard escorting her out of the building. The HR person also stuck to her like glue the whole time. After she was gone, everyone in the office got the one on one meeting with regional manger making sure we were ok and seeing if we needed anything, blah, blah, blah. Then yesterday the President of the affiliate came out for individual meetings with me and the other office manager. We had a good talk, only took about ten minutes, we actually talked about future happenings at the bank more than we did my former boss. He knew and I gave the impression that I was fine with everything and I had been through manager changes before. We have had good conversations before so he knew where I was coming from. My daffy coworker however was in with him for an hour. I think she needed to be talked off the ledge or she was regailing him with all the happenings in the little bizarre world that she lives in. Either way, I am sure I will get the full and long version of it on Monday. She and my former boss were friends and came as a package when hired in and they both have had issues with certain people in upper management. I know they addressed those in these meetings and the Prez is meeting with regional managers to discuss.

My only concern is not being lumped in with all the things said in these meetings and exit interview. Working as a team at a branch, views and gossip tend to get you lumped together as a whole source rather than individually. I do not share the views they do and have not had any problems working with or getting along with my regional managers. I did leave a message for my regional manager to call me so I can touch on that issue. I have some specific things I needed to go over anyway and will be able to segue way into this area with no problem.
