Monday rant
So I'm at work this morning and my daffy but usually well meaning co-worker arrives just over an hour late. I didn't bother asking why and she didn't offer any explanation. I was just left thinking how nice it would be to come and go whenever you want. It's not like we have specific hours of operation or anything. Oh wait, we do. They are posted right there on the fron door at eye level. We even have a schedule telling us to be at work by 8:30.
Then about 11:30 she leaves. I know there was a meeting about twenty minutes away today at 3:30 but 11:30?? Don't worry honey, I'll just take care of every detail here and hold down the fort. Have fun in la la land but don't get too distracted by all the shiny objects.
However, by mid day my mood and day improved because I finally was able to get some coffee. I also received a big box of Twizzlers in the interoffice mail. (thanks Lil, I love it when you go to Costco)
