Lunch time ponderings

The Daily Show with John Stewart is the best show on television. The montages put together from speeches given by Bush are just great TV. Last night was another classic.

I wish I was better at keeping in touch. My intentions and actions often do not coincide. I hope nobody I care about equates my forgetfulness/laziness with not having the desire.

The world would be a much better place if people didn't worry so much about the lives of others.

I re-used a coffee filter (with fresh grounds added) that had sat overnight in the coffee pot because I left myself no time to stop and get some and was out of new ones. Is that gross? Do bad things grow that quickly in a moist room temperature environment?

Right now I am sitting in the conference room at my work typing this and listening to the inane conversations of my staff. Would it be an HR issue if I just yelled out the door "For the love of god just shut the fuck up"? It's been a long day and it's only half over. Damn those TPS reports.

I am playing racquetball tonight with Paul. If I pretend the court is my office, I should be able to shut him out.

I just offered to work this Saturday for someone because I am such a nice guy. My five day week turned into a six day week. Oh well, maybe I get some karma points for it.

Ned Flanders amuses me.

I am going to go out and about this weekend and take pictures of Pittsburgh. Super cool neato fantastic pictures too. I shall post some.

Along with all the positive aspects of my job in Pittsburgh compared to Michigan comes a negative: More and higher taxes. Dear Uncle Sam, since I'm paying more taxes, how about a few more civil rights in return?

While still cold, the sun has been out lately. It makes me want my motorcycle.

Maybe re-using the coffee filter is connected to the temporary insanity of offering to work on SAT!!!!
