Like an excessively long and boring movie, the production that I call my job and its ongoing plot will just not end. With no car chases or sex scenes to entertain, I wonder if there will there be anyone left in the theater to see how it ends or will everyone be in the bathroom collectively hurling their popcorn? It feels like we will never get to roll the credits listing all the amateur actors who have contributed to the story that makes one laugh, cry, swear, and roll their eyes all on a daily basis.

In an unprecedented move in my company, the big bosses are making my boss work out her two weeks notice in an attempt to change her mind. While I think it is good that they are trying to address the issues she brought up in an exit interview, the characters involved in those issues aren't going anywhere anytime soon and the chances of us all being one big happy family after the curtain falls is slim. So it seems that now those of us watching this train wreck are simply enjoying a brief intermission while waiting for the next act.
