SSWW for short
A Long work week, that was actually only four days, ended yesterday. Or to quote a co-worker who was quoting an article from The Onion, "a shit storm of a work week." That little saying will no doubt work its way into the regular sayings we have at our company. It ended on a good note though as me and a couple coworkers from another branch schemed to leave early Friday and have a couple beers to end the week on a high note.
My transfer papers are still screwed up even after being in Pittsburgh for almost two and a half months now. That means my raise that was supposed to start first of the year has not begun yet. I guess I don't need the money so no big deal. Ha, yeah right. At least it will be retroactive back to Jan 1st so I will get a nice lump sum, hopefully in February. There is no sense in bitching about it to anyone because it is the culture of the company, nothing gets done or rolled out in an efficient manner. So cei le vie.
