Show me the money

Had the big pow wow today about the changes to job and compensation. That means it was another day spent downtown. I kind of like having our noon meetings in the city because rather than going to my branch in the morning and heading back downtown, I just don't go to the office first so I get to sleep in. The info we got was about what I expected. The jobs between managers are simply getting more defined. I am an operations manager and they are basically drawing a distinction between operations and sales by having an ops manager and a Sales Manager. I am still responsible for some sales numbers, but the main focus is operations which consist of audits, compliance, employee issues, training, and the like. The compensation side was made so as not to have bonus and incentive pay depend so much on sales for my position. The incentive pay is still there, just not based heavily on sales. And it will be paid monthly instead of quarterly. I am optimistic it will be a positive change. I will just have to see if those monthly numbers equal or surpass a full quarters numbers
