SHUT UP

Today at work I attended the meeting that would not end. It was an afternoon meeting beginning at 1:00 about forty minutes outside of the city. At these meetings, I am always amazed at people who just have to comment on anything and everything. Participation is encouraged at these monthly manager meetings and I regularly offer my great wisdom, but some people just cannot help but open their enormous yap about every little thing and usually venturing off topic. The sharing of moronic thoughts, that serve only to prolong a meeting taking place out in BFE from which many of us attendees have to trek home from in city rush hour traffic, makes me want to jab an ice pick into the ear of such people to plug up at least one hole that allows lunacy to escape into the real world in which myself and most of my colleagues live. The collective eye rolls that ensue several times during these meetings are obvious to everyone but the one or two people that just need to SHUT UP.

Ok Mr. Pittsburger-I was all warm and fuzzy from your last posting but you've just dashed that!! :) So the message is, don't go to BFE for meetings, stay in town and discuss your mission, vision and values amongst your collegues with Starbucks/Caribou in hand. Hey-we're finally getting a Caribou back in A2-yehaa!

Perhaps toooo much caffeine for our boy? I did have to google the acronym "BFE" since Grace used it also(inquiring minds). I'm sure you were not using the most popular saying having to do with Egypt. I prefer the choice further down the list = Battle for Endor.

Ummm, yeah, that one

Some just need to hear themselves talk to feel important. Did I ever tell you about the time.....

All I know is that I've been to BFE many a time and the journey back can definitely put you into that mood. I've never had the urge to use the ice pick though. A simple jab to the nose or an inspiring uppercut will get the point across.
